about Kim

Kim Sutherland has worked as a model, actress, writer, dancer, stand up comedian, fortune teller and singer. Growing up in a musical family, her mother an opera singer and her grandfather a jazz musician, she began performing at an early age on television and in musicals, pantomime and plays. She started singing professionally at the age of ten and had her own jazz band at the age of fifteen. Kim trained as an actor at the  Centre  of  Performing Arts in Adelaide and  as a jazz vocalist at the South Australian Conservatorium of Music.

Based in the Netherlands, Kim has performed in Australia, Germany, Belgium and Italy. She has appeared in all the major jazz clubs in Holland and continues to do so either as a guest vocalist or with her own band, The Kim Sutherland Quartet.
